Why am I prompted to buy the game or enter a key in order to access the full version of the game?
If your game is stuck in a trial and/or you're prompted to buy the game or enter a key, then a downloaded version is most likely interfering with the installation of your CD-ROM game. - Windows XP Users
- Open the Start menu in the bottom left of your screen.
- Select Control Panel.
- Double-click Add/Remove Programs to view a list of all installed games and programs.
- Select your game and click the Change/Remove button.
- Proceed with the uninstall to remove the game from your computer.
- Find and remove the program titled Big Fish Games: Game Manager as you did with the game.
- Insert your CD-ROM again to install the game.
- Windows 7 / Vista Users
- Open the Start menu (Windows 'pearl' button) in the bottom left of your screen.
- Select Control Panel.
- Under the Programs heading, click Uninstall a program to view a list of all installed games and programs.
- Select your game and click the Uninstall/Change button (above the list).
- Proceed with the uninstall to remove the game from your computer.
- Find and remove the program titled Big Fish Games: Game Manager as you did with the game.
- Insert your CD-ROM again to install the game.
Do I need an Internet connection to activate my game?
Nope, CD-ROM games purchased from a retail store do not require an Internet connection and will automatically install the activated version of the game to your computer.
Game crashing, freezing, or having trouble displaying?
If your game freezes, crashes, gives you an error, or you're having trouble viewing the graphics in your game, first check the packaging to make sure your computer meets the minimum requirements for the game. If your system meets the minimum requirements, but your game still won't display properly, it might help to update your video card driver and install some simple software updates. See our Game Crashing, Freezing, or Blank Screen help article for detailed instructions.
