What do I do if I get one of these errors?
If you're seeing errors 1400, 1401, and 1402 when you try to download and install a game in your Big Fish Games app, please try signing out of the app, then signing back in.
Sign out of the Big Fish Games app, then sign back in
- Click the Sign Out button in the top right corner of the Big Fish Games app.
- You should now be signed out.
- Click Sign In in the top right corner of the app.
- Sign in using the email and password of your Big Fish account, then try installing your game again.
If the error continues when installing from the Purchase History page of the web site, you can also try using the Purchase History link in the left-hand column of the app.
If you're still getting the 1400, 1401, or 1402 error, please try reinstalling your game by following the steps below.
Reinstall your game
Click on your operating system below to see the steps for reinstalling the game that is giving you the error:
- Windows XP Users
- Open the Start menu and select Control Panel.
- Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
- In the list of programs, click on the name of the game that is giving you the error, then click Remove.
- Follow the instructions on your screen to remove the game from your computer.
Now let's reinstall the game that was giving you the error.
- Go to Big Fish Games and sign in to your account.
- Click My Account, then click Purchase History.
- Find the game that we uninstalled earlier, then click Install Now to reinstall it. For more information on reinstalling a game, please see our Reinstall a Purchased Game help article.
- Windows 7 and Vista Users
- Open the Start menu (Windows button) in the bottom left of your screen, then click Control Panel.
- Under the Programs heading, click Uninstall a program.
- In the list of programs, click on the game that is giving you the error, then click on Uninstall/Change near the top.
- Follow the instructions on your screen to remove the game from your computer.
Now let's reinstall the game that was giving you the error.
- Go to Big Fish Games and sign in to your account.
- Click My Account, then click Purchase History.

- Windows 8 Users
- Place your mouse over the bottom left corner of the screen and right-click.
- Click Control Panel, then click Uninstall a program.
- In the list of programs, click on the game that is giving you the error, then click on Uninstall/Change near the top.
- Follow the instructions on your screen to remove the game from your computer.
Now let's reinstall the game that was giving you the error.
- Go to Big Fish Games and sign in to your account.
- Click My Account, then click Purchase History.

- Windows 10 Users
Start by uninstalling the game:
- Open the Windows start menu.
- Select Settings.
- In the 'Find a setting' bar, type "Programs and Features" then press the Enter key.
- Select Programs and Features.
- In the list of programs, click on the game that is giving you the error.
- Click Uninstall.
- Proceed with the directions on your screen to remove the game from your computer.
Now let's reinstall the game that was giving you the error.
- Go to Big Fish Games and sign in to your account.
- Click My Account.
- Click Purchase History.
- Find the game that we uninstalled earlier, then click Install Now to download it.

- Mac Users
To uninstall the Big Fish Games app, move the app to the trash can on your desktop and then empty the trash to delete the files. Do the same thing with the game that is giving you the error.
Reinstall the game by following the steps below. This will also reinstall the Big Fish Games app.
- Go to Big Fish Games and sign in to your account.
- Click My Account, then click Purchase History.
