How do I resolve an Error Code 3?
Error Code 3 can occur for a number of reasons, but the following steps can help. First, try uninstalling and reinstalling your game. If that doesn't work, try also uninstalling and reinstalling Game Manager.
Uninstall your game
To uninstall a game, open your Game Manager by clicking the Game Manager icon. Find your game and click the trash can icon.
You can also uninstall your game from the Control Panel of your computer. Select your operating system below for instructions.
- Windows XP
- Open the Start menu.
- Select Control Panel.
- Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
- Find the game and click the Change/Remove button.
- Windows 7 / Vista
- Open the Start menu (Windows icon button), then select Control Panel.
- Under the Programs heading, click Uninstall a program.
- Find and select the game from the list, then click the Uninstall/Change button near the top.
- Proceed with the uninstall to remove the game from your computer.
- Windows 8 / 8.1
- Move your mouse cursor to the bottom left corner of the screen and right-click.
- Select Control Panel and click Uninstall a program.
- Find and select the game from the list, then click the Uninstall/Change button near the top.
- Follow the instructions on your screen to remove the game from your computer.
- Windows 10 Users
- Open the Windows start menu.
- Select Settings.
- In the 'Find a setting' bar, type "Programs and Features" then press the Enter key.
- Select Programs and Features.
- In the list of programs, click on the game that is giving you the error.
- Click Uninstall.
- Proceed with the directions on your screen to remove the game from your computer.
Reinstall your game
Follow these steps to reinstall your game:
- Go to your Purchase History and click Install Now next to the game.
- Select Run or Save File.
- If prompted, click OK or Run to confirm the installation.
If you have not yet purchased the game, go to the Find a PC Game page and reinstall the trial version (when available) to play any remaining minutes.
Uninstall and reinstall Game Manager
If uninstalling and reinstalling the game did not help, try uninstalling and reinstalling your Game Manager.

- Select Control Panel and click Uninstall a program.
- Select Big Fish: Game Manager from the list, and click the Uninstall/Change button near the top.
- Proceed with the directions on your screen to remove the Big Fish Games app from your computer.
- Windows 10 Users
First, uninstall the Big Fish Games app using the steps below:
- Open the Windows start menu.
- Select Settings.
- In the 'Find a setting' bar, type "Programs and Features" then press the Enter key.
- Select Programs and Features.
- Select Big Fish: Game Manager from the list.
- Click Uninstall.
- Proceed with the directions on your screen to remove the Big Fish Games app from your computer.
