Error 771

How do I fix a 771 error?

This error can happen when a Large File game does not completely install, which prevents the game from loading. This can be caused by interference with your game download (for example, if you briefly lose internet connectivity.)

To fix this, please reinstall the Big Fish Games app then try downloading the game again.

Reinstall the Big Fish Games app

Click on your operating system below to see the steps:

• Windows XP Users
  1. Open the Start menu and select Control Panel.
  2. Double-click Add/Remove Programs.
  3. Remove the program titled Big Fish: Game Manager.
  4. Follow the directions on your screen to remove the Big Fish Games app from your computer.

     After following the above steps to uninstall, click the following link to download the Big Fish Games app and reinstall it: Download Big Fish Games app.

• Windows 7 and Vista Users
  1. Open the Start menu (Windows button) in the bottom left of your screen, then select Control Panel.
  2. Under the Programs heading, click Uninstall a program.
  3. Select Big Fish: Game Manager from the list, and click the Uninstall/Change button near the top.
  4. Follow the directions on your screen to remove the Big Fish Games app from your computer.

  1. Place your mouse over the bottom left corner of the screen and right-click.

  First, uninstall the Big Fish Games app using the steps below:
