Have questions about the Sneak Peek Beta Program?
One of the many great benefits of joining Big Fish Game Club is the opportunity to take part in the Sneak Peek Beta Program.
What is a BETA test?
A BETA test is when you play the pre-release version of a game that is still being developed, and then offer feedback based on your experience. The majority of our public BETA tests are for PC games, and most often they are content limited. Whenever you exit the game, a survey will pop up in your web browser. Your survey comments will help shape the final version of the game.
How does the Sneak Peek Beta Program work?
Game Club members are automatically added to the eligibility list for taking part in the Big Fish Games Beta Program. For the most part, the selection process is random, but occasionally we'll narrow down the list based on whether or not you've previously purchased a game in a specific genre. This means that not all eligible email addresses will be selected for each BETA test, and we're also unable to predict when or how often an individual member might be chosen.
How can I make sure I receive an invitation when asked to participate?
Please add firstname.lastname@example.org to your email safe-senders list. Both the Game Splash Newsletters and BETA test invitations will be sent from this address. Also, keep in mind that BETA test invitations always use the subject heading "Beta Test Opportunity."
How do I complete the survey?
Every time you exit the game, a survey window will automatically pop-up in your web browser. You only need to complete this survey one time. If you want to exit the game and return later to finish, you can skip the survey and then return to it after you've completed the BETA test. Additionally, a link to the survey is also included in the BETA test email invitation. We ask that you try the game and complete the survey within one week after receiving the invitation. The sooner we receive your survey, the sooner we're able to make changes based on your feedback!
