How do I update my PC, Mac, iPhone, or iPad game?

Games are often updated to fix problems or add new content, so it's important to download game updates whenever they are available.

PC and Mac games

PC and Mac game updates are installed through the Big Fish Games app (Game Manager).

To install an update, open the Big Fish Games app and follow the steps pictured below.

iPhone and iPad games

You can update your iPhone, iPad, and iPod games from the App Store:

1. Tap the App Store icon on your home screen to open the store.
2. Tap on Updates in the lower right corner.
3. Tap on Update next to the game you wish to update.

If you don't see your game listed in the Updates window, then you likely already have the most recent version of the game.

Android games

To install updates, check for updates in the store from which you installed the game.

Google Play store:

1. Open the Google Play Store app.
2. Swipe across the screen from left to right (or tap the Menu icon) to open the Store home menu.
3. Tap My apps.
4. If an update is available, Update will appear next to the game.
5. To install an available update, tap the game, then select Update.

Amazon Appstore:

1. Open the Amazon Appstore app.
2. From the Home screen, tap the Menu icon.
3. Tap My apps.
4. Tap App Updates.
5. If an update is available, your game will appear in the App Updates menu.
6. Tap Update to install the available update.

Kindle Fire:

1. From the Home screen, tap Apps.
2. Tap Store in the top-right corner of the screen.
3. Tap the Menu icon at the bottom of the screen.
4. Tap App Updates.
5. If an update is available, your game will appear in the App Updates menu.
6. Tap Update to install the available update.

If the option to update does not appear, the latest version is likely already installed.

If I install an update, will I lose my progress in the game?

No, in most cases, installing a Game Update will not cause you to lose your saved progress in the game.In the rare case that an update might affect your game progress, you will see an alert that will clearly let you know this.
